What is SNS?
SNS (Signature Nail Systems) or powder dipped nails dips coloured powder onto the nail and seals it with an adhesive liquid to create a durable, long-lasting, and natural-looking finish.
It supports creating of long nails using tips.
SNS supports nail art by applying intricate designs on a base colour using gel polish.
Pros
SNS has low to moderate odour and air-dries quickly. Application time for a full set is about 45 to 60 minutes.
Enriched with vitamins such as B, E, D5, and D3 and minerals such as calcium, the powder helps heal and strengthen the nail bed.
Cons
It does not support infilling, requiring full removal and re-application to keep nails healthy, prevent them from becoming thick and bulky, and reduce the chance of lifting.
Removal is by filing off the top coat and then soaking off with acetone.
How long does it last?
2 to 3 weeks.
Who is SNS for?
SNS is ideal for durability without the strong odour, long application time, and difficulty of removal of Acrylic nails. It acts as an ideal base for nail art.
It does not support infilling and extreme nail shapes.
