What is Acrylic nails?
A mixture of liquid monomer and powdered polymer hardens to create a bulky and very durable finish in acrylic nails.
It supports long nails using tips.
Pros
It is long-lasting and highly resistant to chips.
It supports infilling, which avoids full removal and re-application.
Sculpting produces a variety of custom shapes, even extreme ones.
Cons
The liquid monomer emits a strong odour during application.
Application time is very long, taking about 1.5 to 2 hours.
It is hard to remove, requiring a soak-off using acetone and extensive filing.
How long does it last?
2 to 4 weeks.
Who is acrylic nails for?
It is great for custom long nails and maximum durability, but not recommended if you want a natural look.
We do not recommend acrylic nails if you are sensitive to strong odours or if you are in a hurry.

Remember to come in for a refill after 3 weeks to keep your nails looking great and make your investment go a long way. Refills take only 45 minutes and are great value for your money.

We welcome customers from Coburg North, Pascole Vale, Brunswick, Preston, Essendon, Fawkner, and surrounding suburbs too.
We have plenty of free car parking for up to 3 hours across from our salon and are only 3 minutes’ walk away from Coburg train station on Bell Street and the tram and bus stops on Sydney Road.
